A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday following a recent announcement of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was confirmed in a public statement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Understanding the Illness
In a personal essay late last year, it was shared that she had been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a cancer that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
